Give your team or clients a warm Belgian Beer Weekend welcome. With prepaid cards that make it easy to enjoy great beers and atmosphere, without worrying about on-the-spot payments. You simply decide upfront how many cards you need and how many tokens to load on each, and everything is ready when you arrive.

How it works

1 voucher = 1 prepaid card with tokens (ready to use at the bar)

Flexible use: choose a few larger cards for group sharing, or one card per guest

Activation fee: €2 / 1 token per card — added automatically, so all purchased tokens remain for beer & food

Glass deposit system: each authentic Belgian glass requires a 2-token deposit

Example: order 5 beers = 10 tokens temporarily held as deposit. Returned glasses = tokens instantly back on the card. Unused deposit tokens can be refunded after the event.

Pick-up: during the event, your team or guests simply present their voucher at the Info Stand (side of the City Hall / Stadhuis) to collect their prepaid card.

Simply present the voucher, have it scanned, and the prepaid card will be handed over.

FAQ

How does the glass deposit work?

Every authentic Belgian beer glass requires a 2-token deposit. These are the same tokens you use for beers, but when you order a drink, the brewery keeps 2 tokens per glass as a refundable deposit. Once you return the glass, the brewery gives those tokens back onto your card.

Example:

- You order 5 beers = 10 tokens for the beers (2 each) + 10 tokens deposit for the 5 glasses.

- Those 10 deposit tokens stay with the brewery until the glasses are returned.

- When you bring back all 5 glasses, the 10 tokens are refunded onto the card.

- If you don’t return some glasses, those tokens remain with the brewery.

- After the event, any tokens still left on the card (including refunded deposits) can be cashed out via the payment system.

How much is a beer?

Beers range from 2 to 4 tokens, depending on the specialty. On top of that, each glass requires 2 tokens deposit, which you get back once the glass is returned.

Do my guests lose tokens because of the activation fee?

No. The activation fee is billed separately, so all tokens you load stay available for consumption. Just keep in mind: at any time, a number of tokens will be in temporary deposit for the glasses. It’s smart to include this when deciding how many tokens to order per card.

Can my team/guests add more tokens if the card runs out? 

Yes. Guests can easily top up their prepaid card themselves by scanning the QR code on the card. Please note: these extra top-ups are paid directly and will not appear on your company invoice.
