SHE SAILS: When East Meets West

SHE SAILS is a two-day workshop designed for women entrepreneurs and women interested in self-discovery, leadership, communication, and cross-cultural exchange.

Through meaningful conversations, practical exercises, and international perspectives, participants will reflect on how culture shapes identity, ambition, leadership, and the way we communicate.

This workshop is not about finding one “right” model of success.
Instead, it offers a space for each participant to explore her own path, understand her strengths and values, and move forward with greater confidence and authenticity.

1. Know Yourself

Reflect on the inner beliefs and blocks that shape your ambition, guided by Dr. Seren Yenikent, founder of AI Psychology Solutions.

2. Find Your Voice

Practice cross-cultural communication with real confidence, guided by Naho Onishi, founder of SOUTH SAIL Ltd.

3. Cross the Border

Apply your identity and voice to real international trade and business, guided by Maria Luiza Mukhina, General Manager of Cottage de Kyohka, inc.

I’ve been running my English school for 10 years with this belief, and now I also have a community for women entrepreneurs called BEYOND Sailors, where we inspire each other to go beyond our own borders. I’m already excited to share how wonderful it is to have something you’re passionate about, build a business around it, and exchange ideas with amazing women from around the world.”

Day 1 — Discover New Perspectives

Date: October 6
Time: 14:00–16:30

Day 1 opens with a welcome from co-host Nicole Hsieh. Three speakers then take the stage in turn: Know Yourself with Dr. Seren Yenikent, Find Your Voice with Naho Onishi, and Cross the Border with Maria Luiza Mukhina. Questions from the room follow each talk.

The afternoon closes with tea and curated networking, where participants connect what they heard with their own entrepreneurial journey.

Day 2 — Put Reflection into Practice

Date: October 7
Time: 14:00–16:30

Day 2 begins with a reframe from Nicole Hsieh: yesterday was about listening to their stories, today is about exploring yours. Participants then rotate through three working sessions in small groups, swapping every twenty minutes.

Each rotation is led by one of the Day 1 speakers:

• Know Yourself with Dr. Seren Yenikent: the beliefs underneath ambition
• Find Your Voice with Naho Onishi: communicating across cultures in English without losing your own voice
• Cross the Border with Maria Luiza Mukhina: moving a skill from one industry to another, and getting paid for it

The workshop closes with a group reflection, a hand-whisked matcha ceremony hosted by Charlotte, founder of Naka Matcha, and a personal commitment card to capture each participant’s next step.

Participants will leave with practical tools, written reflections, new connections, and a deeper understanding of themselves as entrepreneurs navigating an increasingly global world.
