Speaker Introduction
Yeji Cheon is the founder of Seoul Nooks, an intentional coliving and coworking community in Seoul that has welcomed global citizens for the past six years. As both a community builder and a part-time nomad with a Seoul home base, she bridges local Asian cultures with global nomad values.
In her talk, Yeji introduces the Black Box Model—a way to see how the same situation can produce opposite interpretations depending on cultural, social, or personal filters. She draws from her own journey of running a multicultural coliving space in Korea, alongside stories she has encountered from the broader coliving and cross-cultural community.
Her mission: to help people recognize that conflict is not failure, but an opportunity to uncover needs, build trust, and transform friction into a gift.
